Moocher Ltd (“we” or “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of our users (“user” or “you”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our mobile application (the “Application”). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS THE APPLICATION.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the third-party online/mobile store from which you install the Application or make payments, including any in-game virtual items, which may also collect and use data about you. We are not responsible for any of the data collected by any such third party.
Personal Data & Location:
No account creation is needed to use iLuvU App on Android or iPhone.
You have the option of setting a username for yourself in the app. If the username is valid the following data will be uploaded / determined and saved in a database:
- Your username
- IP address
- Device type (such as ‘Android’)
- FCM ID – Used for receiving Remote Push Notifications
- Date created
All usernames are single use and once you change it the previous username will be marked unavailable, however it will still be retained in our database to prevent it from being used by other users.
Firebase installation ID (FCM ID) – This is generated once when you install the app, it is associated with your username if you set one. We only upload this and store it on our database if you setup a username. It is shared with Google Firebase to allow us to send you relevant remote Push Notifications for app functionality and updates / news.
The app allows users to record voice messages. You can then upload these and share these with other app users. The voice recording file will be uploaded to our server using https secure transmission.
When you send a ‘luv note’ voice recording to another user, you have to specify the username to send it to and this username must exist on our server. We will record the following data on our server for each recording sent:
- Date sent
- Your Username
- Recipient’s Username
- Name of the Luv Note
- Name of the audio file
Once downloaded by the recipient, database entries and audio files are permanently deleted from our server.
In App Purchases:
iLuvU App is completely free to download and use. No in-app purchases or subscriptions are offered.
In App Ads:
Our app may display in-house and selected third-party ads. These ads are not personalized, and no personal data is used for advertising.
Mobile Device Access:
We may request access to certain features like storage, internet, microphone, and push notifications. You can manage these permissions in your device’s settings.
Compliance with Laws:
We may disclose your information to law enforcement or government authorities to comply with legal obligations, protect user rights, or aid in investigations.
Changes To This Privacy Policy:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or harm caused to any end user, their equipment or software as a result of using any of our software of products. All products will work as described, in the event that they do not and you have contacted our support email, we will help to refund or reimburse you. When you send Luv Notes to other users please make sure you have their consent. Please keep your username unique and only share with people you trust and are happy to receive Luv Notes from.
